I don’t read as much as I would like at the moment, but every book I’ll go through this year will have a little corner and small review on this page.

How I rate books:

5 stars - I NEED the next one NOW. (I.e, I cried, couldn’t put it down, wanted to cancel my subscription to life to finish it, very dramatic/intense emotions whilst reading).

4 stars - Loved it, felt invested in the characters rapidly, want the next book, but the writing style wasn’t really my thing (or a variation of any of those).

3 stars - Good potential, or didn’t get into it at first and had to pick it up later but now I want to see what happens, some elements were not my cup of tea etc. I would probably have a more detailed review explaining my reasoning behind the rating.

1 - 2 stars - I don’t think that has ever happened or ever will, I will likely dnf the book and forget about it. And being an indie, I would just not rate it at all.
